Service Description:
Everyone has a right to feel safe and to live without fear of abuse, neglect or exploitation. Redbridge Adult Social Services and partner organisations are working to make life safer for adults who are most at risk of being harmed.
An adult at risk is someone 18 or over who may be in need of care and support because of a disability or illness, experiencing or is at risk of abuse or neglect and as a result unable to protect themselves.
If you are the victim of abuse, or you know someone who you think is being or has been abused, then it is really important to seek help.
Report concerns to Redbridge Adult Social Services on 020 8708 7333 (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm) or 020 8554 5000 (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm).
Report any concerns about a crime to the police on 101. In an emergency call 999
There are also a number of local and national organisations you might want to talk to. Please see the useful links section for more details
