A community shop chain has opened its branch in Ilford today (March 28) to help struggling residents "some respite from the present economic challenges". Community Grocery opened its doors at the City Gates Church, on Clements Road, where families can have access to a wide range of affordable supermarket products for £4 per visit.
Vision Ability, in partnership with One Place East will be running monthly support sessions for people with visual impairments. The sessions will run on the 1st Tuesday of every month from March to June 2023.
Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 15-21 May 2023. To mark this week we will be running a variety of workshops, all relating to this years theme 'Anxiety'.
