Quality Checking

Do you want to improve the health and wellbeing of your clients?
If the answer is yes, then please get in contact to discuss how we can help you and to agree a cost.

Who are Quality Checkers?

Quality Checkers are Disabled people and carers of Disabled people who look at the quality of local services they use. They have been trained on how to conduct a quality check. Additional service specific awareness is given.

What a Quality Checker does?

They use their own experience to judge the service’s quality of care and support.

Quality Checkers can recommend on how to improve the service to meet the needs of Disabled people.

This is not a formal inspection and any recommendations made are implemented at the discretion of the service.

Services they can check are:

  • Accident and Emergency Departments
  • Acute Hospitals
  • GP Surgeries
  • High Street Dentists
  • Community Health Services
  • Mental Health In-Patient Services
  • Learning Disability Services
  • Day Opportunities/Services
  • Residential Settings
  • Supported Living
