Help shape the future of OPE activities and join us for a Coproduction Workshop

Dates Available:
Tuesday 29th July 2025 from 1pm-4.30pm
Wednesday 3 September 2025 from 10am-1pm
Bring your thinking hats, creative minds and share your ideas. In a fast-changing world, One Place East (OPE) are thinking about how we tackle the causes of inequality. By inequality we mean poverty, disadvantage and discrimination.
OPE has grown a lot and since 1997, transforming what we do and how its delivered. We annually support 49% more Disabled People than we did in 2022. The focus must now be on strengthening our work over the long term. We are a creative bunch, ambitious to ensure our user-led charity makes a lasting change.
We have designed a coproduction workshop to have a meaningful conversation with people about their hopes, goals and the barriers they face. This will help OPE make best use of the funding and talent it has.
We are inviting any service users (past and present), staff and volunteers who are interested in taking part in these conversations to attend one workshop. The workshop runs twice, so as many people who’ve lived through these issues of inequality can work together and influence our future.
Both workshop dates will take place at the One Place East office and lunch will be provided. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Please note: You will only need to attend one workshop date.
