Hi, my name is Sue.

I am very grateful that my very dear sister encouraged me to find a creative outlet when I was going through some difficult times. It is now my go-to when I feel I need to look after my own mental health and wellbeing.

I have worked supporting people with learning difficulties for many years and overall have been a carer for 20 years. My job is more than just a job to me, it gives me so much satisfaction and it can be challenging,  that’s when I turn to art, it calms and it soothes my mind. I encourage everyone to have a go at expressing themselves creatively as a way  to look after their mental health.
