The CreateAbles

Do you want to be creative and social, and be able to share your skills with others?

  • One Place East wants to support the creation of a network that brings people together to craft, make art, generate creative media, literature or poetry for enjoyment and wellbeing, to teach and to learn skills.
  • We will provide the space and support to get involved in creative things to do and see.
  • We will provide courses in training and group facilitation skills for those interested in leading sessions and running workshops.

To help us design this project, we conducted a short skills survey, asking potential participants what workshops they would like to do in order to gain skills, with the idea of providing them skills and experience of delivering their own session in the future.

A Creating Coffee morning session kicked off the project when interested participants discussed their ideas for workshops.
