Do you want to be creative and social, and be able to share your skills with others? One Place East wants to support the creation of a network that brings people together to craft, make art, generate creative media, literature or poetry for enjoyment and wellbeing, to teach and to learn skills.

One Place Creative (OPC) started in late 2019 with a project that aimed to raise awareness of employment opportunities in the creative industries.  This initial project was funded by the European Social Fund and Groundworks and came to an end in June 2020. One Place Creative continued with a number of different projects with funding from different sources.

One Place East and Space have come together to work on a 6-month program to get people with a disability and/or those with lived experiences of mental health to get creative and learn new skills when it comes to the world of art.
