Redbridge council support services Drop-in
Come along to the Town Hall, Ilford, to speak to council support services on 6 December 2023, 10am to 1pm. This is a drop-in event with stalls, where you can discuss support you may need.
Showcasing Peer Support with Humour
Saturday 28th October 2023 was an amazing day for One Place East and the seven people who completed our first LaughAble Stand-Up Comedy Course. In front of a packed audience of 29 people and whilst being filmed; the 7 trainee comedians and 1 events assistant got to showcase their new skills and confidence. This was a challenge worthy of a TV reality show. Yet with support and encouragement from their peers, everyone demonstrated what a talented group they are.
One Place Creative project – T-Shirt Decorating Workshop
Join us on Thursday 7 December at 2pm for a Creative Christmas T-Shirt Decorating workshop. Come and decorate your own T-Shirt or Jumper for you to wear at your next Christmas Party! The workshop will be led by our very own, Cynthia Bowling. You will need to bring your own T-Shirt or Jumper
One Place Creative project – Christmas Card Design Workshop
Enter our Christmas Card Design Competition.Part of our programme for International Day of Person with Disabilities, join us on Thursday 16 November and design your own One Place East Christmas Card. This workshop will help you create your Christmas Card or bring your already started design to this workshop to add the finishing touches to your creative design.
International Day of Person with Disabilities 2023
Every year on 3 December, we celebrate International Day of Person with Disabilities. The theme of the 2023 International Day of Persons with Disabilities is: "United in action to rescue and achieve the SDGs for, with and by persons with disabilities".
