Learning Bites

 This session provides an overview of the importance of focusing on the social model (rather than the medical model) of disability.

We all hear about the challenges health and social care professionals experience on a daily basis. This session will focus on the personal impact of these on people with lived experience and explore ways of creating positive change.

To explore personal experiences of mental health issues. This course other OPE mental health courses but has a greater focus on people’s lived experience and stories.

We will explore ways in which people with lived experience and health and social care professionals can collaborate more to ensure better outcomes and tackle health inequalities.
