More info on the exhibition: PARKED II is the second instalment of an open exhibition first held in 2017 in St John’s Garden, co-curated by renowned visual artist Emma Douglas and multi-disciplinary designer Ishbel Mull.

PARKED II will again bring together 10-15 artists to St John’s Garden and time time to The Cloister Garden too. It will include works by Tracey Emin, Chila Burman, Denise de Cordova and a number of other renowned contemporary artists. The aim of PARKED is to bring art to the incidental visitor who might not otherwise have access to or seek out contemporary art. As well as introducing new visitors to the beautiful parks.

Both spaces are already a sanctuary to a highly diverse group of visitors, sitting within Islington, one of the most densely populated areas in England and Wales, with the least amount of green space per person.
